ABOUT US
Jiwa is the Indonesian word for soul. Jiwa International is a faith-based organization that joins migrant workers on their journey in foreign and far off places. As we journey together, Jiwa works to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our primary work is in Taiwan coming alongside migrant Indonesian workers, but the vision and mission of Jiwa International extends beyond one people group or national context.

We believe that there are systematic changes necessary to ensure that these people are protected from exploitative environments and abuses. But, unfortunately, change is slow. While governments and private citizens take on this political challenge, there are many people who are hurting and need help now. Jiwa desires to meet these migrant workers where they are while change is still on the way. To do this, we C.A.R.E.
We C.A.R.E by...
Creating Community through WhatsApp groups, events, small groups, classes, day-outings, and more.

Advocating to neighbors and leaders about the abuses many migrant workers experience.
Resourcing migrant workers with peer-counseling and connecting them to existing government resources.
Educating the global community about these injustices.
